~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ![]() ![]() ![]() FLEET FEET Sports Adams Morgan, in association with BROOKS RUNNING, offers half-marathon training programs twice a year for the Fall/Winter and Summer/Fall half-marathon racing seasons. The RUN FIT Half-Marathon Training Program is a 16 week running program for beginner half-marathon runners looking to continue training from a 5K or 10K level and for intermediate/advanced runners looking to develop and strengthen their skills for half-marathon distance. This program provides a slow, steady progression and should be achievable for anyone who is currently able to run/walk continuously for 3-4 miles comfortably (under 13:30 min/mile).
The RUN FIT .5MTP Summer/Fall 2013 session schedule is specifically designed to coincide with the running of the Baltimore Half-Marathon on October 12, 2013 but runners looking to do any Fall 2013 half-marathon event can bene-FIT. Participants will be responsible for entry into an event of their choosing. Runners will meet @7am Saturday mornings for group long runs and have the option to participate in coached track/hill workouts @7pm on Tuesdays and/or group tempo runs @7pm on Thursdays. The first group workout will be @7am on Saturday, June 22 at FLEET FEET Sports, Adams Morgan.
The FLEET FEET Sports RUN FIT Half-Marathon Training Program is presented by FLEET FEET DC Running Club, in association with BROOKS RUNNING. An informational meeting will be held @11am at FLEET FEET Sports, Adams Morgan on Sunday, June 16th. Race entry is fee separate.

This program provides a slow, steady progression and should be achievable for anyone who is currently able to run/walk continuously for 4-5 miles at a conversational pace (under 13:30 min/mile). The RUN FIT MTP Summer/Fall 2013 session schedule will be specifically designed to coincide with the running of the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 27, 2013, but runners looking to do any Fall 2013 marathon can bene-FIT. Participants will be responsible for entry into an event of their choosing. Runners will meet @7am Saturday mornings for group long runs and have the option to participate in coached track/hill workouts @7pm on Tuesdays and/or group tempo runs @7pm on Thursdays. The RUN FIT 10 Miler Training Program is designed for beginner runners looking to continue training from a 10K level and for intermediate and advanced runners looking to develop and strengthen their skills for 10 Mile races. This program is designed for both beginning runners looking to continue training from a 5K or 10K level and for intermediate/ advanced runners looking to develop and strengthen their skills for 10 mile distance. RUN FIT 10 Miler Training Program participants will be responsible for their own entry into an event. The RUN FIT 10 Miler Training Program provides a slow, steady progression and should be achievable for anyone who is currently able to run/walk continuously for 3-4 miles comfortably. This program offers a complete 12 week training schedule, group training sessions, guidance and support from experienced coaches on proper running footwear and apparel, form, progression and pace, injury prevention and nutrition. Runners will meet for group long runs each Saturday morning as well as have the option to participate in additional Track/Hill workouts on Tuesday evenings and/or Tempo Runs on Thursday evenings. FLEET FEET DC Running Club, in association with BROOKS RUNNING, is sponsoring the RUN FIT 10 Miler Training Program and will provide each participant with a moisture-wicking shirt and other goodies!

The purpose of this program is to encourage people to live healthier lifestyles by teaching running/walking fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.
The Spring 2013 NO BOUNDARIES™ Training Program will begin Sunday, February 24 @10:30am at FLEET FEET Sports, Adams Morgan. Participants will then meet at the same time and place for the next 10 weeks.
NEW BALANCE is sponsoring the NO BOUNDARIES™ 10 Week 5k Run/Walk Training Program along with FLEET FEET DC Running Club!

Program begins February 6 and is specifically designed to prepare for the NWMH 2013, but runners doing any Spring 2013 half-marathon can bene-FIT. Participants are responsible for entry into an event. As you prepare for your goal, this program will connect you to those in the training group as well as to those in a broader virtual running community. Pace groups, speed work, and specific training plans will enable anyone who can currently run 5 miles (@<12min/mile) to finish their first half-marathon or improve on past performances. Runners will meet for group long runs @8am on Sundays as well as have the option for additional runs during the week. This program offers all participants:
